Homes over $150,000 we list for 4.50% if we sell the listing ourselves we reduce that commission to 4.25%. Homes over $300,000 we list for 4.25% and if we sell it ourselves we reduce the commission to 4.00%. Homes over $500,000 we list for 4.00% and if we sell it ourselves we reduce the commission to 3.75%. As an incentive to the other real estate companies, we always offer them the "lion's share", 2.5 % of the sales price on the Aiken MLS, so they are also very motivated to show and sell your home. Discount Broker Realty simply reduces it's side of the commission, to as low as 1.5 % to get more listings and to help our seller's, price and sell their homes closer to actual market value, a price that obviously more lenders and appraisers can qualify buyers for, in these credit crunch times.
